For a free, safe and healthy Festa Major

Let’s enjoy the Festival with respect and responsibility. Everyone should have a place there.

If you consume alcohol or other substances, remember your limits and get information if necessary. Do not leave any friend who is feeling unwell and asking for help alone. If you see or experience a situation of sexist or LGBTIphobic violence, contact Punt Lila or call 900 900 120, the hotline against sexist violence.

Where can you ask for support?

There will be professional night teams at Ramon Barnils Park on the nights and mornings of June 25, 26 and 27:

  • Punt Lila: safe space to prevent harassment and sexual or sexist aggression.
  • Yellow Point: information and support to reduce risks associated with alcohol and substance consumption.

There will also be a pair of workers at the Pollancreda Park Amusement Park on the nights of Friday 26th and Saturday 27th.

A more sustainable and accessible Festival

Bring your glass from home!

To avoid generating single-use plastic, the Festival’s spaces with a bar or gastronomic space will have reusable or compostable tableware. However, if you bring your own glass, you will save the initial deposit, and the queue to return it, and you will train yourself in a new, more sustainable habit!

Let’s avoid plastic!

All the water that the organization will provide to the different agents of the Festival (music groups, technical and assembly teams, entities, etc.) will be in 100% recycled and recyclable bottles. In addition, in different spots of the city, SOREA will install some very cool water fountains that will help us get through the heat better! Bring your reusable bottle, and refill it!

More accessible

With the aim of making the Festival accessible, the organization plans to:

  • Live transcription and sign language interpretation during the Opening Speech.
  • Programs in Braille, which can be obtained at the Tourist Office in Plaça Octavià, at the Tourism Office and through the ONCE branch in Terrassa.
  • Space reservation, at events with chairs, for people with reduced mobility
  • The reservation of parking spaces for people with reduced mobility temporary and exclusive during the week of the festival on Abat Armengol Street, before reaching Francesc Macià Avenue.
  • Facilitate access for people with intellectual disabilities or autism spectrum disorder who have difficulty standing in line. They will be able to access the shows without waiting, with a previously reserved invitation.
  • The amusement park will eliminate traditional acoustic and visual advertisements to improve accessibility for all groups with special needs.
  • Temporary removal of music and bright, flashing lights in the fair’s attractions to facilitate the participation of people with autism spectrum disorder, neurosensory disorders or hypersensitivities. It will take place every day of the Festa Major from 5 to 7 p.m.
  • Quiet stretch, without music or crowds on the route of the Trobada Gegantera on June 27. On Carrer d’Enric Granados, between Avinguda de Rius i Taulet and Plaça de Sant Pere. There will be volunteers from the Geganters de Sant Cugat to inform attendees.

The Festival is everyone’s; let’s take care of it! Happy Festival!
