Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC)
The International University of Catalonia has three faculties in Sant Cugat, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, the Faculty of Dentistry, and the Faculty of Education Sciences, all three are located at the Hospital General de Catalunya, (General University Hospital of Catalonia). The Sant Cugat Campus offers degrees in Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Dentistry, Bioengineering, Psychology, Biomedicine, Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, and several double degrees, as well as the Doctorate in Education, Communication and Humanities.
It is easily accessible by public transport, as it is next to the Hospital General station, and by private vehicle via the AP7 motorway.
Escoles Universitàries Gimbernat (EUG)
The Gimbernat University Schools are attached to the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and specialize in Nursing, Physiotherapy, and Computer Science studies. This university center is located in the Can Sant Joan Business Park, next to the AP7 motorway, and has a railway station and various urban bus lines that lead to the center of Sant Cugat.
ESADE (URL)
ESADE is a global institution attached to the Ramon Llull University. It is made up of a Business School, a Law School and an Executive Education area. It is located in the neighborhood of Torreblanca, next to Collserola and the center of Sant Cugat. The campus has all the amenities for students, such as a residence or a gym. Although there is no railway station nearby, Sant Cugat FGC station can be reached by walking around the center or using the various city bus lines in a few minutes.
Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura del Vallès (ETSAV)
The Higher Technical School of Architecture of Vallès, is a school attached to the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and offers an integrated degree in Architectural Studies and Master’s in Architecture that qualifies for professional practice, among other master’s degrees in specializations. It is located in the Colomer district, 10 minutes’ walk from Sant Cugat and Mirasol FGC stations, and very close to the Vallvidrera tunnels motorway.
Institute of Fundamental Theology
It is an academic center erected by the Holy See and entrusted to the Society of Jesus. It is incorporated into the Faculty of Theology of Catalonia of Ramon Llull University. In addition to Bachelor’s and Doctorate courses, the Institute also organizes permanent training courses. It is located in the Centre Borja, next to ESADE and, therefore, close to Collserola and the center of Sant Cugat.
