Saint James’ Way
The international Saint James’ Way footpath crosses the whole of Catalonia. One of its sections goes from Barcelona to the Monastery of Montserrat, passing through Sant Cugat. It coincides with long distance footpath GR-6, 52 km long, that links the Parc del Laberint d’Horta, in Barcelona, to the Monastery of Montserrat. The first stage of the GR-6 runs between Barcelona and Sant Cugat. It crosses the Collserola mountain range, descends to Sant Cugat passing by the shrines of Sant Medir and Sant Adjutori, continues along the path of Can Borrell until the Pi d’en Xandri and then goes through El Pla Vinyet until the Monastery of Sant Cugat. Signposted with white and red marks.
